Headache
You are laying in bed, reading and listening to Adam singing in the shower when you start to get a headache. It's one of your favorite icepick behind the eyeball kinds. You sit the book on the nightstand, turn off the light and let Adam's singing send you off to sleep.
You awake with a start not 15 minutes later at the sound of the blow dryer running in the bathroom. You whimper, wrap the pillow over your ears and try to get back to sleep.
You didn't hear the door open, but soon you feel wonderfully warm hands sneaking over your waist and kisses on your neck. You unwrap the pillow and snuggle in close, laying on his chest. "Ooh you're nice and warm."
"Why Love, are you cold?" You don't answer, simply rubbing your cheek against the hair on his chest, kissing the skin there. You feel him kissing the top of your head. "I could uh, warm you up if you'd like."
"I have a headache Adam," you say sleepily.
"Hmm, I'm not sure which I find more insulting. The fact that you are spurning my advances or that you're using such a tired excuse to do it."
"I'm sorry. I really do have a headache. Otherwise you'd be irresistible. I promise."
"Oh, well in that case," you feel his hands come to your temples and begin to rub in circular motions.
"What are you doing?"
"Seeing if we can't get nasty Mr. Headache to leave you alone so that Adam can have some fun."
"You're talking about yourself in third person. Now I am truly afraid."
"Getting some spunk back I see. Feeling better?"
"Mmm, getting there. Keep rubbing."
He kisses your forehead. "Anything Lady wishes."
His fingers are working magic and low and behold, your headache is disappearing. You smile, deciding to have a little fun. You begin to snore soundly. "I don't believe this. Hello?" He pokes you in the ribs. "Hello?" He leans closer to your ear. "First of all, I'm not buying it." You try not to smile. "Secondly, what's to stop me ravishing you in your sleep?"
"You wouldn't dare."
"Aha, gotcha."
"Not yet you don't."
"Ah yes, good point." He flips you onto your back and looks down on you. Even in the near-blackness, you can see his eyes sparkling. His hand comes up and caresses the side of your face. "Now gotcha?" he whispers, his lips almost touching yours.
"Now got me, yeah."
"Yeah." He kisses you, slow and tender...
