Zoo
You hold hands with Adam and lean your head contentedly against his arm. The pathway from the zoo's main entrance to the primate habitat is tree-shaded and paved with cobblestone. As you walk together, Adam sporadically dips his hand into the small bag of popcorn he holds and puts one in your mouth. You take the popcorn and slowly clean the extra butter from his fingers, smiling as he purrs each time.
You reach the chimpanzee enclosure and watch them moving behind the pane of floor-to-ceiling glass. There is a railing just outside the glass. Adam lifts you to sit upon it. You put your arm around his shoulders as his arms come around your waist. His head rests against your breast as you watch the animals jumping from branch to branch on the trees in their environment. You feel Adam snicker and look down on him. At your questioning glance, he points to the higher branches. Your eyes trail up and you can see that two of the monkeys, presumably a male and a female, are suddenly being very...active.
You blush as you look back to Adam who has a very naughty look in his eyes. He kisses you and helps you down off of the railing. "Come on Love. Let's give them their privacy."
Hand in hand once again, you make your way to the big cats section of the zoo. A bridge extends over the top of the environments allowing you to look down into them and view them. As you near the middle, he picks you up and leans you quite far over the rail.
"Adam put me down!"
"Down did you say?" He pushes you just a little farther forward.
"On the bridge!"
As he sets you back on your feet, he is smiling ear to ear.
"You son-of-a...."
His lips on yours quickly quiet your protestations. When he breaks the kiss, you are both quite breathless. "Now now, such language young lady. There are tender ears about." His head nod indicates that he means the lions, tigers and panthers below you.
You once again look over the rail, this time from a more secure vantage. "Um Adam...I don't think I was going to mention anything more graphic than what they are up to."
He looks over the railing openmouthed as three or four pairs of the various species are vigorously engaged in propagating their kind. This time, even Adam seems a little shocked. "Who owns this zoo? Larry Flint?!"
"How did that commercial used to go? 'It's all happening at the zoo'? Boy, they sure weren't kidding were they?"
He takes you securely by the hand and begins leading you away. "Come on. There has to be something here that isn't getting it on."
"We could always try the Rhinos," you say as you round the corner. "I mean I can't imagine Rhinos really..." you trail off as two Rhinos in their enclosure proceed to assist your limited imagination.
"That does it," Adam declares in exasperation. He stops in his tracks, turns and kisses you. The kiss seems to go on forever, his hands gently stroking your cheeks and hair. By the time you part, you are almost dizzy from the attention. He takes your hand and begins pulling you toward the exit.
"Where are you dragging me to now?"
"I'm taking you back to our enclosure at the Golden Palace Hotel so that we can...do what comes naturally." He stops once more, just long enough to turn his head back to face you, smile, and growl.
As he once more pulls you along with him, you smile and quicken your pace.
