That Which Lurks Within: Chapter Nine
by GylzGirl
Meredith sat beside him, now completely naked. She ran a
lazy hand through Giles' hair, smiling as she gazed into
his eyes. Her fingers drifted down, settling over his
chest and beginning to open his shirt. "Such a brave man,
aren't we?" She bent low next to his ear. "I know what
you're thinking," she whispered, almost singing. It sent a
chill throughout his body. She kissed his ear and leaned
back, once again smirking down on him. "You're thinking
that if you just relax, just accept, at least it will be
over soon." Meredith unfastened the last button, spread
the lapels and trailed her nails down his exposed chest.
"Stupid, stupid man."
Her eyes followed her fingers' path. "It ends when I say
it does. You think I don't know that my touch disgusts
you? Makes you ill?" Her eyes met his again. "I know. I
know you let yourself believe that it was really your
friends who were making love to you. Anything in order to
get you through it yes?" She raked her nails hard against
him causing welts that wept blood where her claws had cut
his nipple. Giles bit back his tears. "But it wasn't
them. It was me. And you can't pretend otherwise with
this body, can you?" Meredith lapped at his nipple, her
mouth red from him when she looked up again. "And it won't
be over quickly. Not this time." She bit down on his
injured nub. His paralyzed body jumped of its own accord.
Meredith released him and licked at his wound. "I don't
like
being tricked." She ran her hand down over his fly.
"You're going to learn that lesson the hard way."
Giles concentrated, trying to ignore the pain, trying to
distance himself from his own body. He tried to use logic
to calm himself, telling himself that she wouldn't do any
permanent damage, nothing that would ruin her fun in the
future. It was almost working until he felt her unbutton
his trousers and heard his zipper lower. Now the succubus
had control of his body and panic was struggling for
control of his mind. Giles felt very lost and very
afraid.
Meredith methodically removed the rest of his clothes and
ran her hands along the full length of his skin. She
settled her body over his, kissing her way down, lingering
over his abdomen. "I want you to watch me." His eyes
obeyed her command. She lightly stroked his flaccid member
and slowly it rose. She grinned, rubbing it twice more and
locking her eyes on his. Meredith brought her lips to his
tip,
opened her mouth and engulfed him down to the root. Her
tongue ran swirls along its surface. Just when the
burgeoning pleasure was about to drive the panic out of his
head, he felt her teeth grip him and panic took
control.
Meredith ground her teeth against him just hard enough to
make their presence known. Soon, she was soothing the
area with her lips and tongue. She pulled back, bringing
her mouth almost off of him, then sinking back down on him
once more. Her hand moved to his scrotum, tugged on it
gently twice and then began to massage it. Slowly she
began to slide back up his shaft, sucking hard as she went,
her hand replacing her mouth at the base to keep the
pressure even. Her tongue tapped against his corona in
rhythm to his heartbeat. His breath was coming in short
pants. His back arched involuntarily and he felt himself
release in climax.
As he came down, his back once again rested on the floor
and coherent thought returned to him. Giles almost wished
it hadn't as he thought about how much he hurt, how afraid
he really was. He felt guilt on Buffy's behalf for
climaxing, though his logic center jumped in to remind him
that was simple biology. Betrayal required intent, and all
he wanted from this creature was its death.
She pulled her mouth off of him and he realized something
else, he was still hard. Meredith smiled at him. "I told
you it wouldn't be over quickly. I am in control, not you.
I will have what I require from you...but first..." Her
mouth slipped down his length once more.
Meredith brought him off that way six more times. Giles'
senses were reeling, his heart pounding like a rabbit. He
was probably living every adolescent boy's dream come true,
but to him it was a nightmare, a fact he was sure the
succubus was aware of. He just wanted to wake up. He had
his own dream now, his Slayer, his Buffy, his in every way,
finally. He couldn't accept that destiny had brought him
this far only to lose her and be forced to submit to the
whims of a demon, to become nothing more than its
plaything. A cool breeze caught the thin layer of sweat
that covered his skin. Giles just hoped she would finish
with him soon before he had a total breakdown...or a
heart-attack.
His attention was brought back to the present by the pain
of her fingernails embedding themselves in his shoulders,
the grip of the hands they were attached to bruising his
flesh as the blood began to flow. If Giles could have
cried out, they would have heard him blocks away. As it
was, the screaming in his head was deafening. The
feather-gentle kiss she placed on his lips was a parody of
her concurrent savageness. She brought her leg over him,
straddling his still-erect penis and dropped herself down
on it, hard. She pumped herself up and down on him, each
time slamming his body violently, working herself into a
frenzy. She came with a loud scream and Giles' body
followed suit, seemingly more out of desperation to stop
this abuse than any kind of actual arousal.
Meredith's unconscious body dropped to the side and rolled
off of him. Giles felt as though he were slowly being
rescued from quicksand as the paralysis left his limbs.
Once he knew the succubus was no longer there to watch him,
tears welled up in his eyes and he passed out.
Buffy unlocked the door to Giles' apartment, stepped in and
practically stopped breathing. Two naked bodies lay on the
floor in the middle of the room, one she clearly recognized
as Giles, the other a woman. She couldn't speak for a
moment, the automatic instincts of shock and betrayal
rooting her to the spot. She took another look at Giles.
That's when she saw the lines and swirls of crimson
decorating his body. If there were two things a Slayer
knew how to recognize, it was weirdness and blood. Buffy
rushed to Giles' side, the sight of the blood making the
weirdness of the situation more apparent. As she got
closer, she could better see his injuries. She touched his
cheek and he curled away from the contact, slurring, "No
more, please." Buffy blinked back tears. The succubus had
done this.
"Buffy I told you to wait up, Oz just wanted to..." At the
sound of Willow entering the room, Buffy slipped out of her
light jacket and covered his groin. "My God, what
happened?"
"The succubus." Buffy said quietly. "Giles is hurt."
"Oh no." Willow made her way to the unconscious woman and
reluctantly leaned her head back. "Oh my God, Mrs.
Kravitz?!"
"Who?"
"The uh, that real estate lady, Bellemore or something.
She lives down the block. Treats Giles like her personal
pin-up boy."
"Great." Oz and Cordelia stepped into the doorway. "Oh
good Oz. Help me get Giles upstairs please?"
"Sure no problem," the young man quickly shook off his
puzzled expression and took up the Watcher's legs. Buffy
circled his torso with her arms, trying not to touch any of
his wounds. Together, they lifted and made their way up the
staircase.
"Cordy help me."
Cordelia knelt beside Willow and assisted her in hastily
dressing the real estate agent.
"It was that thing again, wasn't it?"
"Yeah." Willow sounded sad.
Cordy slipped the woman's arm through her sleeve and
noticed the blood on her hands. "Is Giles gonna be all
right?"
"Yeah. She tore him up pretty bad but he'll recover...this
time."
"This time?"
"The succubus has obviously fixated on Giles. It's just
going to keep coming after him. We've got to find a way to
stop this."
"We will," Cordelia said, utterly confident. Willow
smiled.
Buffy and Oz eased Giles down onto his bed. Buffy grabbed
the afghan from his chair and lay it over him from the
waist down. They made their way back down the stairs.
"You dressed her, oh good."
"Yeah. Now, what do we do?"
Buffy ran her hand back through her hair in an unconscious
imitation of her Watcher. "Well we have to get her out of
here before she wakes up. And someone has to take care of
Giles."
"Buffy," Oz spoke softly, "You should take her."
"But I..."
"You and I are the only ones strong enough to get her clear
down to her house. I kinda think Giles would rather be
dressed by me." Buffy was about to argue that fact but
thought better of it. Now was not the time to break that
particular bit of news. Though she desperately wanted to
stay and take care of Giles, to be there to hold and
comfort him when he woke up, she knew Oz was right.
Buffy grasped Meredith's wrists and hoisted her over her
shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "I'll help you get her
down there," Cordelia spoke.
"Thanks Cordy." Cordelia stepped out of the doorway and
looked around. When she saw that the street was clear, she
motioned for Buffy to proceed. "Take good care of him.
We'll be back soon."
"We will," Willow called, "be careful." Buffy exited and
Willow turned to her boyfriend. "You go get his jammies on
him. I'll get the first aid kit." Oz smiled sweetly and
disappeared up the stairs.
