We have very basic submission rules: 1. No Actor Fics (aka RL or Real Life fics) 2. Stories must feature a character played by Vincent D'Onofro as the lead character/or one of the leads in an ensemble. Stories which are about the Vincent D'Onofrio character though not necessarily featuring him [example: LOCI- Alex Eames spends a Sunday alone in her apartment thinking about how much Bobby means to her] are allowed but need to be heavily about the VDO character. 3. Please check your grammar and spelling. 4. Please include a disclaimer in your text seeing as the various roles Vincent has played are all owned by different, not us type, folks. Additionally, if you're posting song lyrics, book/film/etc. quotes, actual dialogue from episodes/films etc. please give source credit for them in your author's notes on your fic. RATINGS FRC- Safe for all ages to read. FRT- Should be safe for anyone 13 or over. Sexual innuendo, Mild Swearing. FRM- Should only be viewed by those 17 and older. Somewhat detailed sex, more intense language. FRAO- ONLY for ADULTS. Fics with this rating may contain Excessive Cursing, Graphic Sex, Drug Use, Rape, and other dark themes. Please read all catagories before you make your choices. The Law and Order CI catagory has subcatgories for het, slash and Goren/Eames fic. The "Other" Catagory Once a Vincent character has a few stories posted, they will get their own catagory. Please mark fics in the "Other" catagory very well so I can tell what character it's for. This archive has a free mailing list on Yahoogroups: donofrio fic SIGN UP/POSTING TUTORIAL For posting to the archive you will want to : -Choose "Log In" from the menu on the left. -Click on where it says "Register" in the middle of the page. -Fill out the new account info and hit "submit" at the bottom -The archive will then email you a temporary password. (If it doesn't arrive, you may need to rescue it from your spamfilter) -When you have your password, go back to "Log In" - Type in the Penname you chose and the password that you've been sent (you many want to cut and paste from the email) and hit "submit" [From now on, you'll just go straight to the Log In] Now you're in your account: -First thing, go into Edit Personal Information and change your password to one of your own choosing. (and Write your login information down somewhere at home where you can reference it) click submit to save your information. -Click on back to your account To submit a new story: -Click on Add New Story -Select a catagory for your story to be under. (Keep in mind, Law and Order CI also has subcatagories that you can pick also) -On the next page is where you will enter your story as well as the archive information for your story. Follow the directions on the right side of the page. When you are done, select preview -The next page will display how the archive listing will read, followed by how the story page will look. If that is acceptable, scroll down and select "add story". If not, fix the problem and hit preview again to make sure it's taken care of. To add a new chapter to a story: -Click on your account -Select Add New Chapter. -A selection of all your posted stories will appear. Click "Add Chapter" next to the appropriate story. -Follow the same as you would adding a new story (but do remember to change the chapter title, even if it's just a number) NOTE: Sometimes after you LOG IN, you will get a BLANK PAGE. Just hit "refresh" and you should be taken right into your account. |
