The Red Windmill Archive contains stories based upon the world of Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge. All stories will be clearly marked with ratings and content warnings. Stories with more mature content will require age verification before being able to be accessed.
If you are too young to understand what you are and aren't allowed to read when it is marked with ratings, this is not the place for you. Likewise, if you're of the mind to take offense to material even though you have been clearly warned, you would probably be happier visting some other site.

| The Relaunch of Red Windmill |
After the demise of my former web domain, forbiddenwhisper.com, Red Windmill was one of the many sites that never made it back online. It was so interlinked to that domain, and I was so disgusted with the whole fiasco that was my former webhost that I just let it go. Not to mention, the submissions had trickled out slowly after the film had been on dvd for a few months. But with this wonderful e-fiction program, and my new webhost who ROCKS, I'm giving it another go. Because the story of Moulin Rouge still touches me.
A Few Important Notes
For the time being, pay no attention to the complete/incomplete indicator on the fics. Everything on here to begin with was transferred from the old archive by me. And the program only allowed me to flip that switch on my own fics.
The archive has switched to the new Fan Based rating system to avoid any confrontations with the MPAA. Please go to the Help page if you're unsure how to rate your fics.
Also, if you're an author who has a story here because it was moved from the former archive, and you'd like access to your author account, please email me at gylzgirl (at) softcom.net. If you have changed your email address since you submitted originally, you will need to let me know and tell me the new address. Otherwise, the temp password will email to your old account. |
